If you follow me on Instagram you know I’m team “Halloween season starts in September” & so that means, more Halloween designs! And while it’s not feeling super Fall just yet where I live, I’m ready to start celebrating in fun and interesting ways – like this week’s new free pattern, the Halloween Cactus Coasters crochet pattern 😀
I loved making and designing June’s Cactus Coaster Quartet so much that I knew I couldn’t wait too long before I made another set of coasters. I just think they’re handy and cute that they’re definitely worth the yarn. Ya know what I mean? But for this month I didn’t want to repeat what I did previously with the cactus coasters… I had to get a bit weird.
I’m going to be real honest with you, I was worried how people would take these designs. I mean, they’re cactus coasters but they’re also Halloween themed… there’s a lot going on there don’t you think? And there’s nothing super traditional Halloween to them either. But when I had the idea pop into my head, I couldn’t make it go away. So, I took the risk and just hope that other people will like them as much as I do. I’m not sure if I know anyone who would like them for a gift. Hmm… maybe I need more yarn loving friends.
But anyway, I hope you like these! They’re definitely a unique way to decorate for Halloween. My husband’s favorite seems to be the Ghost cactus. He loves the little arms and that I included the pot (because it died but the pot remains, get it?) & you know I had to include the Candy Corn, even if I loathe the candy itself it’s iconic for Halloween. Had to use it.
I do hope you like this pattern set.
See ya next week!
Please note: I was provided the yarn for this pattern by We Crochet for the purposes of designing the Halloween Cactus Coasters Crochet Patterns, with compensation. I wasn’t provided the yarn with the expectations of positive or negative reviews but I did enjoy using this yarn, I’ve used it many times and it’s always a great worsted acrylic yarn. If you purchase yarn through any of the links in this post, I will be compensated.

For Cactus-O-Lantern
