More Dumpster Fire Wall Hanging Free Crochet Graphs

Learn to make the Dumpster Fire Wall Hangings from a free crochet graphs by Divine Debris. Very customizable, colorful, and exciting to make.

Hi again!
Because I liked how the Dumpster Fire Wall Hanging turned out I decided to make more graphs! So, below you will be able to find more Dumpster Fire Wall Hanging graphs, for your favorite needs. I only had time to make 1 sample but I wanted to make more graphs. I hope you like them! And, as always, you can leave off the white letters and make the top any way you want. Happy 2026 (which I may update the patterns to include a 2026 if people are interested):D

Like nearly all my other wall hanging patterns, the Dumpster Fire Wall Hanging is worked from the bottom up in rows of single crochet stitches. Using Stitch Fiddle I designed this pattern as a tapestry/ intarsia project for people to customize as you’d like with colors in your stash. While I worked mine, I used a combination of techniques – I used separate skeins of color for the individual sections of color on the bottom (picking them up and dropping them down the WS when not in use) and then used floats on the letters at the top. I preferred to use bobbins because the spaces were small enough I could just use floats. If you decide use bobbin’s for color work like this, be sure to work back and forth and not in a circle to try to keep the yarn from getting too tangled – here’s a video on Instagram showing what I mean.

Below the graph is available to view, that way if you’d like to make this as sc or hdc or dc you can do it… but you can also make it in C2C if you want to work the graph on a bias. And if you’d prefer you can knit, Tunisian crochet , and even cross stitch this design using the graph as well. It’s entirely up to you 😀 Just remember as you change your pick of stitch, it will kinda distort the image a bit.

And in keeping with industry standards, if you’d like written instructions to these patterns you can pick those up in the ebook my Ravelry shop (it’s written in back and forth rows so it won’t help you with C2C). I know talking about money makes people uncomfortable but I split up these patterns this way so that people do have an incentive to pick up the pdf, it helps me to keep making patterns here on my blog. I hope you understand.

I hope you like this week’s group of patterns. Don’t forget to have fun and check in on your friends.

Do not make videos from my pattern, you don’t have permission even if this pattern is free.

Please note: I was provided the yarn for this pattern by Lion Brand Yarn for the purposes of designing other patterns but I used the left over to make the I Tried Dumpster Fire Wall Hanging pattern, without compensation. I wasn’t provided the yarn with the expectations of positive or negative reviews but both yarns are fantastic worsted weight yarns to have in my stash.

  • The odd rows are the RS.
  • This pattern is worked from the bottom up, row by row with a turn at the beginning of the rows. Finally, after blocking, you sew it to a stick and add any finishing touches you’d like such as surface crochet or fringe.
  • The ch 1 at the beginning of the rows does not count as a stitch.
  • I worked this design using bobbins/ intarsia and floats (as you can see on my Instagram profile). Feel free to adjust as you’d like to work this design.
  • Blocking is suggested for this pattern.
  • In the photos: Color A is light brown (.53 oz/ 34 yds), color B is dark brown (.24 oz/ 15.3 yds), color C is tan (.05 oz/ 3.12 yds), color D is black (.4 oz/ 25.5 yds), color E is teal (.9 oz/ 57 yds), color F is red (.24 oz/ 15.3 yds), color G is white (.4 oz/ 25.5 yds), color H is light gray (3.3 oz/ 210 yds), color I is dark gray (.04 oz/ 2.6 yds), color J is orange (.14 oz/ 8.9 yds), and color K is yellow (.19 oz/ 12 yds). I used stash yarn for this design (mainly Pound of Love by Lion Brand Yarn and Brava Worsted by We Crochet for this design)
    • Please note: for light gray and white the amounts do vary but only but a fraction of an oz.
