Simply the Vest! The Free Harper Vest Crochet Pattern

Dress up a simple tshirt or tank top and jeans with a fun and open vest design, the Harper Vest, from a free crochet pattern on DivineDebris.com

Happy Tuesday! Who’s read for tank top living? I do believe I’ve talked about how hot it is here in SoCal – but if I haven’t, it is so warm already. I’m living in tank tops and shorts these days, just to stay cool. Which is why I designed this vest! The Harper Vest crochet pattern is a simple design based on the Harper Shirt I posted a few months back and I hope you like it.

I love how the Harper Shirt turned out. That fan is so pretty! I love a good easy fan design that’s fun and cute to customize – I just love how this vest looks in a multicolored yarn! One of my testers worked it up in a variegated color and has so much personality. Not that I don’t like the color I used for this, I’m a fan of sagey greens in all their variety.

Anyway, like I was saying, this design is great for Summer wear. Even if we’re not going out a lot these days, it’s still so cute to wear for a walk around the neighborhood. I’ve worn it myself for short trips – it’s light enough to do some fun twirls in too. And it’s all worked in one piece! Very minimal seaming (just on the top where the shoulders are) – that’s what I like in a design if you ask me.

I hope you’re still doing well and being safe out there. This year as been stressful one, that’s for sure.

Please note: I was provided the yarn for this pattern by WeCrochet for the purposes of making this design, with compensation. I wasn’t provided the yarn with the expectations of positive or negative reviews but I did enjoy using this yarn, it’s a great cotton yarn I will be using again.
