Funny story, I’ve actually had this pattern ready for some time, I think I wrote it back in January, but I just had so many other ideas come up (all those seasonal ones) that I just never got around to publishing this. For this design, I thought it’d be fun to add to the Diana Line, always a favorite, with something quick and fun and pretty useful. I don’t know how many times my sunglasses have been scratched in my purse. This bag comes in handy to combat that.
Materials:
- US I (5.50 mm) crochet hook
- Worsted weight yarn/ size #4 yarn
- 1 oz/ 62 yards
- 2 colors
- I used Bernat Super Value
- Yarn needle
Gauge:
- 4” x 4” = 14 dcs x 7 rows
Terms/ Stitches used:
- RS: right side
- St: stitch
- Ch: chain
- Slip st: slip stitch
- Sc: single crochet
- Hdc: half double crochet
- Dc: double crochet
Notes:
- This pattern is worked in the round, with a slip st into the first st from the alst.
- The ch 1 at the beginning of some rows does not count as a stitch.
- For this pattern, you will have to know how to work into the back third loop only.
- The bag and the strings are worked separately. You work the bag and then add the strings after, weaving them through the openings on row 22.
