Look at the Pockets! The Bobbi Pocket Scarf Crochet Pattern

Bobbi Pocket Scarf free crochet pattern by DivineDebris.com

What lady doesn’t like a good pocket? I know when it comes to women’s fashion we’re often left holding our phones and wallets because our pockets are woefully inadequate. Now, I’m not saying that this week’s new pattern will change that in any way but it will at least be a nice place to tuck your hands. Allow me to introduce my new favorite scarf, the Bobbi Pocket Scarf pattern!
So, this is a really simple and fun design that I really hope you like. It’s worked really easily in sections – the middle section first, then you go along both long edges creating a border with cute little bobbles, and then you work the pockets separately. The finishing touch is seaming it all together and adding some optional fringe and you’re done! See, how easy it that? And I’ve given you an excuse to use the extended single crochet, which I love but don’t use often enough.
For the elephant in the room, I still very much love my Artemis Hooded Scarf pattern. It’s my last pocket scarf design and I want to give it a shout out. You know how it is, you want to make sure your kids all know you still love them in different and unique ways. 😀
Anyway, I hope you like this week’s new design and try it. It’s a fun one, my testers liked working it up for sure.

I hope where ever you are you’re having a great time and being safe and healthy. Hugs friends. Wash your hands and masks.

Please note: I was provided the yarn for this pattern by We Crochet for the purposes of making this design, with compensation. I wasn’t provided the yarn with the expectations of positive or negative reviews but I did enjoy using this yarn, I’ve used it many times and it’s always a great worsted acrylic yarn.

Seaming
With the RS facing you, lay the Pockets on top of the ends of your Scarf (you can use stitch markers to line up the stitches), line up Row 1 of each Pocket with Row 1 and Row 165 and match the 29 rows of the Pockets with the first and last 29 rows of the Pockets (you can use stitch markers to keep the pockets in place if you’d like) . Using your preferred method of seaming, seam the outer edges of both Pockets to the Scarf together (I used a slip st). Fasten off, weave in your ends.

Finishing
Add tassels or fringe as you’d like to the ends of your scarf.
