Only one more square to go before this year’s C2C CAL blanket is done! I can’t believe it’s been 11 months already. What a fun one, right? Wait… I’m getting ahead of myself. Let me share with you this month’s square first – the C2C Pumpkin Pie Square.
So… as soon as I decided on a sweet treats/ delicious desserts theme for this CAL I knew that I wanted to do a pie square. Maybe chocolate? Maybe a banana cream? Or maybe… just maybe, an apple pie? All great options but I knew in my heart I needed to make a pumpkin pie square for the Fall. No Fall is complete in my house without at least one pumpkin pie, with those warm notes of cinnamon and nutmeg, just a creamy delicious dessert. One of my favorite pies, always I love to have one this time of year.
But of course you can adjust your square as you’d like. This is a very easy base square for you to make any kind of pie you’d like. It would be cute in rainbow colors or pastels, the idea of which reminds me of the movie Hook. I’m sure anything you’d pick will be so cute.
Anyway, I hope you like this month’s new pie square. Let me know in the comments what your favorite pie is. No shame or judgement if you’ve never had pumpkin pie, it’s a winner in my book but not everyone 😀
I hope you like this year’s theme and join in using the hashtag #DeliciousDessertsC2CCAL and #DivineDebris so I can share your makes!

I hope you all are healthy, happy and a fabulous end of November. Please be kind to one and other, wear your masks, wash your hands, and be safe friends!
Please note: I was provided the yarn for this pattern by Lion Brand Yarn for the purposes of making the C2C Pumpkin Pie Afghan Square, without compensation. I wasn’t provided the yarn with the expectations of positive or negative reviews but I did enjoy using this yarn, I’ve used it many times and it’s always a great worsted acrylic yarn.

- Each C2C block consists of 3 double crochets and a ch-3. The directions will only tell you what color (ie: Color A, Color B, etc…) and the number tells you how many blocks to make.
- Check out the tutorial by Meghan Makes Do on how to do C2C designs if you’re unfamiliar on this technique.
- You will need to know how to change colors in a C2C for this pattern.
