Happy Monday, friends! It’s the last Monday of May and honestly, the month has felt like it flew by. I’m lucky though, this Rebel Cat Amigurumi pattern has been keeping me company for weeks.
I love cats. I’m not sure if you know that about me, but I do. If I didn’t move so much, I’d probably have a couple now but I don’t know where I’ll be living in a couple years and I don’t want to bring a cat into this. That’s why I’ve made this ami (also the Sweetheart Cat Ami if you’d like a different style).
I’m not kidding, though, this ami has been keeping me company on the couch for a while, just hanging out while I work on blog posts and on other yarny projects. I like having a friend around who always thinks my new design is super and very supportive. It’s a ton of fun. 😀

Notes
- This pattern is worked in 5 sections: the Body, the Ears, the Arms/Legs, Face Details, and the Tail. All these sections are worked in the round with a slip st into the first st of the rnd to join.
- The ch-1 at the beginning of the rows does not count as a stitch.
- There’s a turn after each rnd.
- In the sample: color A is light blue (Bernat Velvet in Softened Blue) 9 oz/ 270 yds 1 skein, color B is teal (Bernat Velvet in Pagoda) 1 – 1.5 oz/ 30 – 45 yds, and color C is black (misc stash yarn) less than 1 oz.
