More Progress Pride Flag Wall Hangings Free Crochet patterns

Learn to make the More Progress Pride Flag Wall Hangings from free crochet graphs by Divine Debris. Very customizable, colorful, and exciting to make. Perfect Pride Month crochet patterns

Like the Dumpster Fire Wall Hanging release earlier this year, I had too many ideas to keep to myself. So, in addition to the Progress Pride Flag Wall Hanging, here’s the More Progress Pride Flag Wall Hangings.

As I said in the Progress Pride Flag Wall Hanging post, during June I use the proceeds from the purchases of the pdfs and ad revenue to donate to The Trevor Project and Trans Lifeline. I give back where and when I can and every year it feels more vital we stay involved. Not to mention, I just think it’s so, so important to remember the reason that we celebrate Pride month in June – the Stonewall Riots in 1969 were because of the violent raids by the cops.

Like nearly all my other wall hanging patterns, the Progress Pride Flag Wall Hangings are worked from the bottom up in rows of single crochet stitches. Using Stitch Fiddle I Like nearly all my other wall hanging patterns, the Progress Pride Flag Wall Hangings are worked from the bottom up in rows of single crochet stitches. Using Stitch Fiddle designed this pattern as a tapestry/ intarsia project – even though as I note in the Notes section below I made this is as nearly entirely an intarsia design. For an intarsia project, I used separate skeins of color for the individual sections of color (picking them up and dropping them down the WS when not in use) and didn’t really have to carry and crochet over the yarn, because the color changes were just on stitch over. If you decide use bobbins for color work like this, be sure to work back and forth and not in a circle to try to keep the yarn from getting too tangled – here’s a video on Instagram showing what I mean.

Below the graph is available to view, that way if you’d like to make this as sc or hdc or dc you can do it… but you can also make it in C2C if you want to work the graph on a bias. And if you’d prefer you can knit, Tunisian crochet , and even cross stitch this design using the graph as well. It’s entirely up to you. Just remember as you change your pick of stitch, it will kinda distort the image a bit.

And in keeping with industry standards, if you’d like written instructions to these patterns you can pick those up in the ebook my Ravelry shop (all the patterns are written in back and forth rows so it won’t help you with C2C). I know talking about money makes people uncomfortable but I split up these patterns this way so that people do have an incentive to pick up the pdf, it helps me to keep making patterns here on my blog. I hope you understand.

There have been hundreds of anti-LGBTQIA+ bills proposed this year in the United States. We can’t be quiet, we must be vigilant and continue the fight. If you can, find ways to donate or volunteer locally. And never, never forget without Trans people we wouldn’t have Pride
