Oh, will you look at that! It’s tank top season here in SoCal and that is one of my favorite times of year. I love lounging in a tank top and leggings and when you can make your own, even better. So, without further blathering on, I introduce you to the Hayfield Tank Top pattern.
This design is so simple but I promise you it’s worth it in all you can customize and, like I said, you can make your own tank top however you want. How cool is that? Always cool if you ask me.
And I hope this design introduces you to a stitch – the extended half double crochet. This is just like a normal hdc but with a little bit of extra texture in that little chain you add. It’s part of what makes this design so fun, a little uniqueness in the stitch. If you look closely at the photos, you can see how it’s different from hdc. I like that it’s different but still familiar. Like a hug from friend you might not know yet. Oh, remember hugs from friends?
Anyway! I hope it’s tank top season where you are and that you’ll give this pattern a shot. It’s really easy to customize, add more rounds around the sleeves or neck to make it tighter. You can add more rows to make it longer or more stripes to make it stripier. It’s totally up to you! It’s a fun base idea you can customize in such lovely ways.
I hope you like the new Hayfield Tank Top pattern and give it a try.

The two pieces are then seamed together and you add the Sleeves around the arm holes and the Neck Detail on the neck hole.

I would love to try making this to, but the instructions are kinda confusing to me. What do all of the numbers mean?

They denote the different sizes and stitches I'm not sure which ones you are asking about
