Let Me Tell You About Stephanie, the Stephanie Market Bag free crochet pattern

Stephanie Market Bag free crochet pattern by DivineDebris.com

New this week Stephanie Market Bag pattern. It’s a fun, easy, and durable bag (believe me, I already took it out to carry some beverages home from a local brewery). But if you follow me on Instagram, you may already know that it’s named after former Robin, former Batgirl, and all around favorite of mine, Stephanie Brown.

Most of my patterns are named after people, even ones who I don’t know. This week’s design is named for a fictional characgter, Stephanie Brown (I mentioned that above) because I love her. She’s a mess, often, but her heart is usually in the right place (like when she started a gang war in Gotham when she was fired from being Batman). And… because most of us aren’t really going to the market all that much (but if you do, this washes really well), so this makes a great WIP bag. So, my heart was in the right place when I designed this bag but alas, we might not be using it for markets but we can still use it 🙂

Anyway… I really love the way this bag turned out and I’m so glad I ultimately added the drawstring. It really makes it easy to stuff full of yarn and then pull it closed. But if you don’t want the drawstring section you can skip right over it in the instructions. Super simple and customizable. Just how I like it – the Stephanie Market Bag pattern, everyone!

Well, friends, I hope you’re doing ok. It’s been a rough couple time for the world. I know I’m just trying to keep busy at home with work. Luckily I’ve got lots of stash yarn to keep me company. I hope you do too <3
Hugs! See ya next week

If you looking for some more fun market bags, I have a couple here for you to check out.

Please note: I was provided the yarn for this pattern by WeCrochet for the purposes of making this design, with compensation. I wasn’t provided the yarn with the expectations of positive or negative reviews but I did enjoy using this yarn, it’s a great cotton yarn I will be using again.
