Rainbow Revisited – The Free Rainbow Mini Mandala Crochet Earrings

Happy June everyone!

I hope you’re doing well today! I’m waiting on a new fridge to be delivered to my rental, listing to 90’s lady-led rock bands, and drinking coffee. And writing this post, obviously. Ha! 😀
So, if you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know that June means Pride and that I gotta post something with some rainbows. Right? Well, I do! And this year is no different.

Since I made the Mini Mandala Earrings for a friend of mine a couple years ago, I really wanted to make a pair for myself. Alas, with all the things I make, I haven’t had the opportunity to sit down and work on the earrings. Like, they’re not time consuming but I did want to work out how to change the pattern to fit 6 colors. This year, though, I found/made time and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been wearing these earrings everywhere since I finished them. They worked up so quickly (the longest part was all those ends to weave in) that I was able to wear them to work later that day. 😀

And I’ve gotten compliments from lots of people, which is another bonus for sure. 😀

I hope you like this design update and give the new 6 colors scheme a try!

And check out some more Rainbow projects I have on my blog!

Like I do with all my earrings, I stiffened these with fabric stiffener (like this one you can buy on Amazon). Just wet them down with the stiffener (I dilute it with water some) and lay them flat to dry completely. When they’re dry, attach the findings and wear everywhere!

Pulling out my embroidery floss right now. I am not exactly sure what size hook to use so I will have to experiment :)

I think you totally could! You might need to adjust your hook size but definitely think it'd work
