Hello again. 😀 I hope you had a great weekend and a fun holiday if you celebrate Easter. So this week I have another bracelet for you, it’s a cuff style bracelet that I hope you will like. I really appreciated the kind words and encouragement that I received from so many on the Janice Headband that thought I’d make something else in that line, a companion piece to the fun fan headband.
As you can see in the photos, this design works very well with a variety of colors, you can do 6 like I did in the rainbow one or 2 as I did in the purple/ beige one. I cannot wait to see what you call come up with.

You can purchase an ad-free downloadable pdf of this pattern in my Ravelry shop for $0.50.

Gauge:

  • 1″ x 1″ = 10 scs x 10 rows

Terms/stitches used:Ravelry link

  • Ch: Chain
  • St: Stitch
  • Sc: Single crochet
  • Dc: Double crochet

Notes:

  • This pattern is worked in 4 sections – the first is worked from the original chain row, the second is worked on the other side of that chain row, the third and fourth are the ends where the button and buttonhole are.
  • This pattern is worked back and forth in rows with a turn at the beginning/ end of the row.
  • The ch 1 at the beginning of the row does not count as a stitch.
  • When changing colors, just pull up the new color at the beginning of the row.
  • You will need to know how to create a slipknot on your hook.
  • The bracelets in the photos are done in different color schemes but the pattern is written in 2 colors (like the purple and beige bracelet).
  • If you would like to make this pattern larger or smaller, the button and buttonhole sections are the best places to do this, as you don’t have to worry about adding chains to the original chain row and instead can just add or subtract rows of single crochets on the ends.
  • When the instructions say sc around the chain from a row into the row below, basically you’re doing a spike sc.

Button hole section:
Row 1: Rotate the piece so that you’re working along the row ends (the single crochets). Create a slipknot on your hook with color B and sc into the 10 row ends – 10 scs
Rows 2 – 4: B: Ch 1, turn, sc into the next 10 sts – 10 scs
Row 5: Ch 1, turn, sc into the next 2 sts, ch 6, skip the next 6 sts, sc into the last 2 sts – 4 scs
Row 6: Ch 1, turn, sc into the next 2 sts, sc 6 times into the ch-6 space, sc into the last 2 sts – 10 scs
Row 7: Ch 1, turn, sc into the next 10 sts – 10 scs
Fasten off, weave in your ends.

Button section:

Row 1: Rotate the piece so that you’re working along the row ends opposite of where you created the button hole section. Create a slipknot on your hook with color A and sc into the 10 row ends – 10 scs
Rows 2 – 5: Ch 1, turn, sc into the next 10 sts – 10 scs
Fasten off leaving a long tail. I use the tail to attach the button on this side, it makes for fewer ends to weave in (which I always love, personally).
